Dden is a social enterprise based in Carlow. Their tailor-made programs have been designed with the future of teenagers in mind. They are in response to and seek to address the digital skills gap in Ireland and to prepare them for study, work and life.
Consequently, at their unique summer camps, they offer teenagers exciting experiences that prioritise problem - solving skills. They do this through hands-on activity-and project based learning approaches coupled with exciting fun-filled indoor and outdoor events. The week-long programs afford teenagers the opportunity to acquire valuable in-demand digital skills that better prepares them for success now and in the future.
At the moment, they offer 5 unique summer camps that focus on Leadership and Team-building, Social Media Literacy, Human Centered Design Thinking, Data Analytics and Visualisation and Machine Learning and AI. Each 40-hour week is filled with skills training workshops combined fun filled activities. Working on real-life projects in teams, teens will not only learn and apply 21st Century digital skills to project challenges posed by local organisations, but they will also develop a portfolio of solutions that they could further use to enhance their curriculum vitae.
