29-March-23

The Department of Sociology at Trinity College Dublin, is conducting research on how adolescents engage in digital activities and how we can promote beneficial forms of digital use for their wellbeing. The project focuses on young people aged 12 to 18 years old and aims at increasing their digital autonomy and self-efficacy to promote their positive feelings and overall performance.

Curragh Community College students & parents are invited to contribute data for this research through online survey. Your input to this research will be essential to develop a programme that will help to promote teenagers healthy engagement with mobile devices.

The role of parent/guardian: Parents/Guardians are asked to fill out a brief outline questionnaire with some general basic demographic questions.

The role of the student: Students are asked to fill out a brief online questionnaire with some general questions regarding the use of their digital devices. Daily, for two weeks, students will answer a few online questions regarding their online experience.
