Board of Management
Overall responsibility for the activity and development of the school lies with Kildare and Wicklow E.T.B. and the Board of Management. The Board of Management of Curragh Post Primary School consists of nine members: nominees of Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board, two nominees of the parents in the school, two nominees of the teachers in the school and the school principal, who is a non-voting member of the board. Currently, the Board consists of: Ms. Ness Doyle, (School Principal, who acts as Secretary to the Board), Lt. Cl. Mark Prendergast (Chairperson), Cllr. Mark Stafford, Cllr. Sean Power, Mr. Noel Merrick and Ms Georgina Byrne. Teacher nominees on BOM are Mr. B. O'Driscoll and Ms. R. Jones. The school’s Deputy Principal, Ms. L. Coleman, attends as an observer. The Board meets, on average, three or four times during the school year. The Principal of the school acts as secretary to the Board.
