Good Afternoon,
Below, please find instructions for Geography lessons this week. Your poster must include the name, definition and an illustration of each method. 3) Complete the being creative task at the bottom of page 141, create a fun rhyme or mnemonic to help you remember the five different methods of coastal erosion. Lesson 2- (Friday) Topic: The Sea Textbook pages: 142 & 143 Learning Intention: Describe with the aid of a labelled diagram how Bays & Headlands are formed. Activities: 1) Read page 142 & 143. 2) Imagine you live in or you are on your holidays in Liscannor Bay, Co. Clare. (Pictured on the bottom of page 142) EITHER write a short script you could use as a local tour guide in the bay to inform tourists how the bay & headland was formed.(You must also draw a labelled diagram to support your guided tour) OR Create a postcard to send home to your friend and in it describe how the bay & headland is formed as well as providing a labelled diagram. Once completed you can either scan or take a photo of your work and return it to me via email for feedback. If that is not an option just keep all work safely in your Geography copy/folder for now. If you have any questions regarding any of the above, please don't hesitate to email during school hours. Kind regards, Ms Dalton
