Today marks the beginning of our Wellbeing Week in CPPS. The theme for March from our wellbeing calendar has never been more important. A programme of activities and events has been put together to help students and staff become more aware of ways in which they can look after their wellbeing. Although our junior cycle classes remain engaged with learning from home; the pogramme enables them to reconnect and feel part of the whole school community. We start with 'Mindful Monday' where the day focuses on improving our understanding of what it means to be mindful. 'Thankful Tuesday' will highlight the benefits of practicing gratitude and make some suggestions as to how we can use this in our day-to-day life. St Patrick's day will be celebrated on Wednesday and so suggested activities of how we can all have a Covid-Compliant celebration will be shared. 'Top-Tips Thursday' will focus on stress and advise on ways in which we can deal with stress in a positive way. We end our week on 'Feel Good Friday' with the focus being on healthy eating and exercise and their direct links to our wellbeing. There are lots of things happening across the week. Activities will be shared via the Teams Wellbeing Areas and so students are advised to check in with their class wellbeing room daily.
