Hi Everyone, Apologies for emailing so late in the day.. my new YouTube career ran into some slight technical difficulties this morning. Please find attached your work for today's class. OL Students - you do not have to worry about this. Please continue to work on the other classwork that has been assigned. This is the final bit of new material for the HL LC course so I would encourage you to take the time to familiarize yourself with it as much as possible. I have the online lecture here: https://youtu.be/nSTWXPUxlQk With Minor Melodies you have three things to remember: 1) How to identify it 2) Don't modulate - use Chords 1 - 5 instead 3) Raise the 7th note of the scale. (every time you use the 7th note there should be an accidental) Everything else is the same as a Major Melody. Please watch the class, complete the activity in the video and attempt the Melody question attached to this email. If you have any questions please email me. If you could get it back to me before the Easter holidays that would be perfect but there is no problem if not, just take your time and try your best. Thanks guys, Mr McColgan.
