Uniform reminder

The students of Curragh Post Primary have all returned to school by now and are settling in well into the daily activities.  We would like to thank all parents and students for the great efforts made to ensure the return to school has been smooth and successful.  The school uniform is a key part of ensure all students feel part of their school community.  Below is a reminder of the agreed school uniform in CPPS:

1. Simple, not expensive, grey trousers for boys and either a grey trousers or grey, knee length skirt for girls;
2. Navy blue, knitted jumper with school crest for Junior students;
3. Light blue shirt for Junior students;
4. Teal blue, knitted jumper with school crest for Senior students;
5. White shirt for Senior students;
6. All students to wear polishable brown, navy or black, flat shoes or dubes.
7. In effect, this means that leggings, hoodies, cords, jeans, logos, stripes, team shirts, tracksuit bottoms, boots and runners are not acceptable.
8. Students who wish to do so, may purchase and wear in class, on cold days, a school crested fleece.
9. On PE days, school PE t-shirt with own track suit can be worn into school while Covid restrictions remain in place.
10. The uniform should be worn appropriately and with pride.
